A brief description of the major smart features you get when you host your site with DbSmartSite.com.

The list is broken down between the standard and premium features. Standard features are available to all sites hosted by DbSmartSite.com. Premium features are based on the plan you have and the options you selected.

The following features are available to all sites hosted by DbSmartSite.com.

 Available Managers

• Page Manager - add, edit, delete, import, preview and publish pages.
• Template Manager - add, edit, delete, import and preview templates.
• Component Manager - add, edit, delete, import and preview components.
• Style Manager - add, edit, delete, import and export style sheets.
• File Manager - add, edit, delete and upload image files from your PC to you site.
• User Manager - add, edit and delete users authorized to manage your site.

 The following features are available based on the hosting plan you selected.

 Available Managers

• Form Manager - add, edit, delete, import and preview interactive forms.
• Private User Manager - add, edit, delete users authorized to view private pages on your site.

Other Tool Features

• Page Inheritance - inherit pages from a template and change the template at any time to change the look and feel of your entire site.
• Reusable Components - create reusable components (for example, header and footer) and add them to your templates or pages. Change them in one place and they are changed everywhere.
• Rich Text Editor - bold, underline, align, text, etc.) Requires IE 5.5 or higher
• Layout vs. Preview mode (edit pages in layout mode or preview WYSIWYG mode)
• DbSmartThemes - access to all of the content, templates, style sheets and components in our DbSmartThemes wizards.
• Domain Management - manage your domain (register, renew, change contacts, etc.) directly from DbSmartConfig.
• Meta Tag Support - Add "meta tag" keywords and descriptions to all you pages to increase search engine results.

 Other Tool Features

• Content Manager Support - ability to assign content managers to maintain pages, templates, components, etc.
• Date Sensitive Content - ability to specify a date range to display items on a page.
• Private Pages - ability to mark a page private requiring a valid username and password to view the page.

The following items are available to all sites hosted by DbSmartSite.com. All items can be added anywhere on the page.

• Plain text - displays text without any formatting.
• Rich text - displays texit with formatting (bold, italic, etc.)
• Image - displays an image you upload to your site. You can associate a link with the image.
• Image and Text - displays and image and text side-by-side. If text exceeds height of image, the text will wrap around the image.
• PayPal Buttons - displays PayPal buttons (View Cart, Add To Cart, Buy Now or Donate) to turn your site into an eCommerce site.
• Photo Gallery - displays multiple images on page. Each image can link to another image or page.
• Rotating Image - displays a rotating image. Image can rotate randomly or sequentially. You can specify a timer or rotate once per page load.
• Button - displays a button the displays another page when clicked.
• Link - displays text that links to another page on your site.
• Link List - displays a list of links. Each link can have an optional description.
• Horizontal Menu - displays a menu of links side-by-side with optional separator.
• Vertical Menu - displays a menu of links stacked vertically. Use different styles to obtain a hierarchical effect.
• Tab Bar - displays a tab bar with currently selected tab highlighted. You can specify a submenu to display underneath each tab.
• Quick Links - displays a list of links without descriptions.
• Site Title, Page Title, Heading 1, Heading 2 - displays a heading on the page. A different style is used for each heading.
• Phone List - displays a list of names and phone numbers. Hint: Can be used to display any 2 column list of information.
• FAQ - displays a series of questions and answers.
• Tabular Data - displays tabular data (grid) with up to 9 columns. Each column can display either text or an image.
• Component - displays the specified component at the location.
• Placeholder - add this to a template to indicate where content goes on any pages inherited from the template.

The following premium items are available based on your hosting plan. All items can be added anywhere on the page.

• Site Search Box - displays a search box and displays search results of all pages matching the text expression.
• Monthly Calendar - displays a monthly calendar with forward and backward arrows. Display the month with any events you have added for days in month. You can add events for a single day or add repeating events.
• Form - displays a form to gather input from your visitors and sends responses to the email address you specify.
• Private Logon - displays a logon form requesting a username and password to enable visitors to access pages you have marked private.
• Private Logoff - displays a button to logoff from private site. Visitor must logon again to view private pages.
• Private Change Password - displays a form to enable a private user to change their password.
