DbSmartConfig is our online web site builder that is included free for all sites hosted by DbSmartSite.com. It is the #1 reason you want to host your site with us. Now you can build and maintain your own site or pay one of our designers a modest fee to build your site and you can maintain it yourself.

The Page Manager makes it easy to add new pages, change existing pages or delete pages you no longer need. When the page is ready, you can publish it so your changes are visible to your site visitors.

Create your own template or import one from one of our DbSmartThemes and customize it to your needs. Inherit your pages from a template and you can change the appearance of your site in minutes.

Create reusable headers, footers, sidebars, etc. (or import one from our DbSmartThemes) and place them on your templates to give your site a consistent look and feel. Change it in one place and all your pages are updated immediately!

Use our built-in File Manager to upload images and other files to your site. You do not need any additional software.

You can authorize one or more users to manage your site either as administrators or content managers. You control what content managers can do (for example, what pages they can edit).

You can create forms to communicate with visitors to your site (for example, Contact Us form). Create your own or import a form from our DbSmartThemes site and customize it.

Use Style Manager to change the styles DbSmartConfig uses to control the appearance of text and backgrounds on your site. You can change the fonts and colors of all text, headers, titles, menu items, etc from one easy place.

When you add a new page, you can inherit it from a template to give all your pages a consistent look and feel. You can change templates as often as you want and have a totally new site in just minutes. Build your own template or import one from one of our Smart Themes.

Use our new site wizard to build a brand new site in minutes including a Home page, Contact Us form, About Us page, Legal page, Privacy page, Monthly Calendar page, FAQ page and more.

View visitor information in a graphical format to analyze how much traffic your site gets each week or month. See which pages are visited the most and how long visitors remain on the page.

You can edit your pages in Edit mode or Preview mode. In Preview Mode you see the page as visitors see it except for the little Edit buttons scattered on the page.

Edit in layout mode to change the layout of the page. You can add, move and delete items, columns and entire sections. Use Preview mode to make changes to individual items on the page.

Our rich text editor makes it easy for you to add formatting to text (bold, italic, foreground/background color, indenting, alignment, etc.) without having to know any html. (Required IE 5.5 or higher)

You can specify start and end dates for any item on your page. If supplied, the item will not display unless the date is within range. Great for advertisements and time-sensitive events.

You can add as many items to your pages as you want. Below is a partial list of the items you can add to your page in addition to images and text.

Rotating Images - images rotate on a timer or randomly when page displays.
Rich Text - text with formatting (bold, italic, alignment, etc) without any programming experience
Search Box - allows visitors to easily find information on your site.
Monthly Calendar - displays a monthly calendar with events. You can events for a specific date or repeating events.
Horizontal Menu - display a list of links side-by-side. You can specify characters to display between the menu items.
Vertical Menu - displays a menu of links vertically. You can group items together to display a hierarchical menu structure.
Tab Bar - Tab bars (like the one above) make navigation easy. Each tab can have a sub menu with additional links.
Form - displays a form (textboxes, radio buttons, check boxes, drop down lists) used to submit information to you from your site visitors.
FAQ - displays Frequently Asked Questions and Anwers. You can optionally display a table of contents at the top with links to the answers at the bottom.
Link List - A list of links to other pages on your site with descriptions displayed underneath.
Quick Links - A list of links to other pages on your site without descriptions.
More Lists - you can add several other types of lists: bulleted lists, numbered lists, event list, announcements, phone list and address list.
Private Site Logon - displays a form for visitors to supply a username/password to access your private site (any page you specify as private).
